WILLISTON, N.D. — Ten men and a woman are facing charges after being arrested during a two-day human trafficking and prostitution sting in western North Dakota.
Authorities in Williston on Monday said the individuals were arrested during the operation conducted Thursday and Friday.
The Williams County Sheriff’s Office says undercover agents responded to internet ads for female escorts, and two men who drove the women to the arranged meetings were arrested. Forty-two-year-old Rasheed Abdul Rahim and 44-year-old Charles David Norton have been charged with one count of human trafficking.
As part of the operation, authorities also posted ads for undercover adult escorts. Eight men who responded to the ads were arrested on charges of soliciting prostitution.
Twenty-six-year-old Tammie Suggs was arrested during the sting for ingestion of a controlled substance.
